The Post Money SAFE with Evaluation Cap
This is the latest version of Y Combinator’s post money SAFE.
A SAFE, Simple Agreement for Future Equity, is the most popular investment agreement used by startups to document the capital received from an investor during a crowdfunding campaign.
It contains the important details of the investment agreement such as the startup’s legal name and address, the investor’s name and address, the amount invested, and the value of the startup’s stock at the time of the investment as well as other important details such as the valuation cap and discount rate, if any.
