P-791 began as part of the US Army’s LEMV program in 2005 and cost US taxpayers more than $100 million to develop. Although its first test flight was in 2006, its current status is unknown, as Lockheed Martin hasn’t posted any information on the project in several years.

The P-791 was recently used in a April Fools’ prank where it was modified to look like an Amazon airship.

Created in a popular video editing platform, it’s shown flying while deploying small drones for use in delivering customer packages.
